Lover Avenged

Lover Avenged by J. R. Ward. Its about 500+ pages but its worth reading. Out of all the books, this one is more compassionate. I relate to the characters and the plot is different from the other books. This is book seven and as far as im concern there is one more after this one which is called Lover Mine. Im a sucker for these books, once i start i cant put it down. I get enthralled by it and well J.R. Ward is a wonderful author.

Catching Fire

Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. This book has approx. 400 pages. This book is the second installment of the trilogy of the Hunger Games. Let me start saying that if you read my review for the Hunger Games, you would understand that i thought it was an amazing job. Know this book is beyond amazing. In my opinion its better than the 1st one. Second installments tend to (being brutally honest) suck. I feel that Ms. Collins surprised me to the limit. I feel like its not like any other book before because this book kept me from sleeping. It was a page turner, i couldn't stop. Also this book has the ending that will surprised me. It has an odd ending but you will end up craving the next one. I cant wait.

KissCut

KissCut by Karin Slaughter. It has 340 pages. Ok this is the story, I hjad nothing to do so i went to the library trying to find something to read. So I stumbled on this book and i decided to take it home and read it. I was amazed on how good this author wrote this book. I finished this book in two days. I some how couldnt put it down. I was flabbergasted when i read the book. Every time i started to analyze the book, some twist to the plot put me on first base. This story, is a mystery/detective work, more like CSI, if you watch the show then you understand what i am trying to say. I recommend to read this book to any one who wants a change of genre. Once in a while doesnt hurt, right? This book deals with pornography, death, murder, pain, castration and so much more.

The Blackstone Chronicles

The Blackstone Chronicles by John Saul. It has about 525 pages. Again with the master of horror. How can i describe this book...well first of this book is a series of 6 books put together. Do you understand when i say that there are some books you live with whether you finish it or not? Well i could not put this book down and when i did, i was actually thinking about the book and trying to analyze everything. He wrote an amazing book and in the end you realize what exactly happened. It makes your imagination roam wild and makes you believe in things you never expected possible. John Saul, this book was amazing, loved reading it and hopefully you make more.

Necking

Necking by Chris Salvatore. It cointains 279 pages. This book is about a publicist who publishes or exhibits books. Her clients are actual werewolves, vampires, fairies, and all the good stuff. She falls in love with a vampire and through out the book she realizes how she is willing to give up all her life just to be with this one guy. This book is entertaining, i finished it in about 2 days. It has a lot details and it was a great book. The only thing i did  not like was the ending, i was expecting an epic battle, but the bad dies quickly. It was worth the read, so enjoy.

The Awakening

The Awakening by Kelley Armstrong. This book has about 360 pages, its not a lot. This book was amazing, beyond perfect. Usually sequels have a twist but you can see it coming, but not this one. I can actually say its better than the first, in my opinion at least. This book starts with Chloe in the "mental institution" and it follows her through out her escape from there. Bonds forms and i believe that in the next book there is going to be love and broken hearts. I loved it, i basically read the entire book in one day. It was that good. I enjoyed it, but remember this book follows The Summoning. So check out that review also.

I am currently reading Evermore by Alyson Noel. I'm barely in the first 4 chapters and trust me its amazing. I cant believe this masterpiece of a book. Check soon for the review.

Its about looking into your soul and figuring out what truly matters in life. Its kind of like a vampire book, but not really and it has a twist of what really means to truly love someone. This book is something i really enjoyed and would recommend it to everyone.

The Mortal Instruments

The Mortal Instruments Trilogy by Casandra Clare. I would recommend this book to any book lover that is seeking for intertainment, love, fighting, broken heart, misleading facts and suspension. This trilogy consists of City Of Bones, City of Ashes, and City of Glass. City of Glass recently came out and it was greatly anticipated by fans of the trilogy. This trilogy starts in New York, Claire' is found out that she is a Shawdown hunter. That means that her world opens up to see vampires, globlins, fairies, witches, warlocks, ghost, and a whole bunch more. She meets Jace Wayland and she falls in love with him unknowinly that he is her brother. Adding to the drama her mom is kidnapped and she must figure out how she can make her better. She goes through a journey to find out who she really is and secrets are revealed. Like it? Then read the trilogy. The books range fro 500-550 pages, but trust me they are worth it.

Inheritance Cycle

Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. These book has pages ranging about 700-999. They are very long books, but trust me they are worth it. These books begin in Alagaesia. They focus on a Eragon and his dragon Saphira as he becomes one of the few remaining Dragon Riders. The Dragon Riders were almost destroyed by a Rider named Galvatorix and the Forsworn. After the Fall, when most of the Riders were slain, Galbatorix claimed the throne of Alagaesia. The tyrant king's greatest fear is that a new Rider will rise up and usurp his position as king of the Empire. Through the efforts of the rebel group, the Varden, and their leader/founder, Brom a dragon egg is stolen from Galbatorix, and by a whim of fate, is thrust upon a young farm boy in Palancar Valley named Eragon. As Galbatorix attempts to capture Eragon and his dragon, Eragon begins a journey into the past and the future of Alagaesia. The fourth book is yet to be named and does not have a date on when it will come out. There is a lot of mystery and a lot of unexpected events that leave the reader breathless. I would recommend it to anyone who like to devour a fantasy book.

Blue Bloods

The Blue Bloods Series by Melissa De La Cruz. The book has about 300-350 pages. It an easy read. This books start with a secret, vampires. The vampires assimilated quickly into the New World, rising to levels of enormous power, wealth, and influence, they were the celebrated “blue bloods” of American society. And they kept that secret for centuries. Now in the 21st century the protagonist Schuyler Van Alen is a sophomore at a prestigious private school. Suddenly, when she turns fifteen, there is a visible mosaic of blue veins on her arm. She starts to crave raw food and she is having flashbacks to ancient times. Suddenly a vampire teen is found dead. A threat is among the vampires and they protect themselves before they die. This is a great series and i am awaiting the 4th book, The Van Alen Legacy, and it is said it will come out 10/6/09.

The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. It contains 374 pages. This is the first book in the Hunger Games trilogy. This book is about 16 yr old Katniss Everdeen whose fate brought her to annual event, the hunger games. Here, the Capitol randomly selects one boy and one girl from each of the twelve districts to kill amongst themselves until only one remains. This suspenseful and action packed book explains the theory of the survival of the fittest. It such a great book and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a thrilling adventure. I am currently waiting the next book in the series, Catching Fire. The release date for the 2nd book in the trilogy is set to be on 9/1/09.
